Hi again, WRW. Can you tell me where you found the Freud "poison" quote? I want to use it at the front of my new novel but cannot track down its source other than your excellent blog. Thanks!
Gosh, Sarah, it may have been from the catalogue brochure to an exhibition of his work here. I'm away at the mo, but when I get home I will hunt it out and check.
Hi again Sarah I looked through the catalogue brochure and the quote is not there. Maybe it was on one of the explanantory cards at the exhib, I can't remember. Or in the big catalogue, which I didn't buy. You might like to contact Maeve Butler at the Irish Museum of Modern Art who curated the exhib last summer. Maybe it will ring a bell with her? www.imma.ie

Thank you for the Freud quote - it was exactly what I needed for the chapter I'm writing in my new book!
