ah, too bad our minneapolis entry didn't win. but we're proud of him for making it to the finals.
Who was he, Laurie? Sadly most of the writers are still numbers to me (i.e. not linked to their story title). Do you know the name of his story?
FYI, Julia (who won 1st) also won the Fish Short Story prize this year. Which just goes to show that good work will always rise to the top.
And also that Cork is a lucky charm for her!
