As Cúirt Writer in Residence, I will lead participants in an intensive workshop focusing on short fiction, on Wednesday the 22nd of April from 10.30am to 12.30pm, at Galway Arts Centre, 47 Dominick Street.
Those wanting to apply to take part should send a sample of work (maximum 750 words) together with contact details to:

What a shame it's midweek and in the middle of the working day...I'd love to go
I know what you mean, EW. I think that some people take time off work especially for Cúirt every year and that this is what they rely on.
Also, I think, a lot of local writers tend to apply, the workshops being mostly advertised locally.
The festival is absolutely vast and wide-ranging this year (a real credit to the new organisers).
