HEROES AND VILLAINS AT INDIEOMA

My short story 'Jacques d'Arc's Dream' is up at Indieoma in the Heroes and Villains commentaries. This story first appeared in my collection To The World of Men, Welcome, published by Arlen House.

Read your story twice today: once with a very wonderfully bizarre clip playing alongside, and once without! I thought it was great both times. It was strange, when I first began reading I just assumed the story was being narrated by Joan's mother - reasons not to assume! Anyway, I thought it was a really interesting way to tell the story.

Hi R - that music on Indieoma's site drives me nuts! Thanks for reading.

I know I’ve read this story before but read it again this morning. Great tension and pace, I swallowed deeply as I got near to the end my heart rate getting faster. Brilliant when an author can cause a reaction to the reader that they can’t control.
Kar x

p.s. finished ‘Nude’, WOW! I loved every word of it, I'm raging I've finished, I keep flicking through it just in case there was one story I missed. It's left me wanting more.

Jessica - if you click on the clip (on the left), the music stops, thankfully.
