NEW POEM AT HUNGRY HILL

Listen by Ian Humphreys - image from Mill Cove Gallery

I have a new poem here at the Hungry Hill Anthology in response to Ian Humphreys's beautiful painting Listen.

"A whistle keening" I can hear it out over the bay in Ballyvaughan. A favorite place I am missing here in the midwest where the only wet thing is the pig pool. It does not bring me the same sense of comfort your poem just did

Many thanks
