ALL IRELAND POETRY DAY - THE GLOSS

For All Ireland Poetry Day today, The Gloss (free with the Irish Times) has an article on poetry by Antonia Hart.  Myself, Nessa O'Mahony, Mary O'Donnell and newly crowned Patrick Kavanagh Award Winner, Helena Nolan, are all quoted.

Enjoyed the article. It was great to see poetry in the mentioned in the press, hopefully the start of a new phase in irish life...perhaps poetry will become the latest recessionary obsession...

Wouldn't that be great, Niamh?
Though as Pat Cotter has pointed out, it has been 5 weeks since the Irish Times has reviewed a poetry book. Gerry Smyth is being missed already.
Maybe there'll be a review today.
