WILLESDEN HERALD COMP - STILL OPEN!

Willesden Comp judge, Roddy Doyle
I have developed an affection for The Willesden Herald short story competition over the years and I just want to let you know that the comp is still open - until the 16th December.

It has a nice big upper word count limit of 7,500, which is unusual and welcome. You can enter online and there is a modest entry fee of £3.

£300 first prize plus the coveted Wills Herald mug.

Roddy Doyle is this year's judge and ten stories will be shortlisted and have the chance of being published in an anthology.

All you need to know here.
