SHORT FICTION JOURNAL COMP 2012
I was a runner-up in the Short Fiction journal comp in 2011, so naturally I am biased as to its worthiness, heh heh. But it really is a great publication that features some excellent contemporary writing so their competition is definitely worth a go.
Details of the prize are here. Briefly it's £10 stg to enter, allowing up to two stories, you also get a free copy of the 2012 issue (worth £10). First prize is £500 plus publication. Second prize, £100. Good luck!

Thanks for the heads up Nuala. Lots of comps on at the moment.
Yes, Edel, it's that real new year feeling - new things to try :)
Ooh, another nice comp! Thanks for posting this - congrats on your shortlisting, too!
