Athlone Literary Festival started last night and runs until Sunday the 7th October. There is a variety of workshops, walks and readings, including a reading from one of my favourite poets of all time, Paul Durcan tonight. Yipee!! I am so looking forward to hearing him read from Praise in Which I Live and Move and Have my Being.
I will read at the Athlone Literary Festival Miscellany event at 12 midday on Sunday the 7th. I have decided to read a light piece - not my usual doom and gloom ;)
