It being almost Christmas, and nearly D-Day for postage abroad, I am giving away a copy of
Miss Emily to one reader of this blog. I will post to anywhere in the world. All you have to do is leave a comment on this blogpost to say you would like to be in the draw. Simples. (And then come back on Sunday to see if you have won!)

With winter coming soon to eastern Canada, along with a 5-week break, I'd so much like to curl up with this book that I've heard so many good things about! As a teacher of 19th-century literature, I can enjoy it and also excuse it as homework! Not that I need any excuse!
You are in the hat, Sheelagh!
Yes please Nuala! xx
You are in the santa hat, Shauna x
I've been wanting to read it for AGES, but the very limited resources of a PhD student with kids just don't stretch that far....photocopying and milk take precedence. I would love to read it over the Christmas period, when I should be doing so many other things....
I would like to read this.
I would love to be included please Nuala x It is so thoughtful of you to give away a copy of Miss Emily x
A beautiful parallel tale with distinct voices. Nuala harnesses the very best of her own poetic insight to provide a riveting tale of two very different central female characters, each foraging their own path in a male dominated time. It's a book to savour.
I would like to be included. Thank you! :)
Hello Nuala, yes please include me in your draw. It will make the perfect Christmas present for someone I know (they can't have my copy)
I would like to be included in the draw too, please!
I would love to be included...if I don't win...where can I buy this book?
All of you are in the drawer, dearies.
Mary Ellen - it's still in the shops, otherwise Kennys or Amazon or the Book Depository.

Would love to win a copy of Miss Emily, is on my "to read" list and I really enjoyed your previous books, especially The Closet of Savage Mementos!
You are in, Sarah.
Am also entering Ray Nessly as he is having trouble commenting himself.

Ditto, Nuala. I'd love to be in the draw. Saw you speak about the book in the Bantry House Tearoom last summer. Really enjoyed it
Sorry Trevor the drawer is over. Look at for future giveaways! Bantry was lovely.
