THE UNSINKABLE BRIDIE
Bridie, the main character from 'Letters' in my book Mother America has been proclaimed unsinkable by Anakana Schofield in The Guardian. See the Top 10 Unsinkable characters in literature here.
I closed my eyes while you read, found the pictures on the video not as good as my own imagination. My own mother's heart knew her joy in seeing that picture but so sad at the end. Can I run down to the alley scoop it up and read it to her? Would she mind?
