EVERY DAY FICTION

I have a story at Every Day Fiction here. It's called 'Roy Lichtenstein's Nudes In A Mirror: We Are Not Fake!'. The fadas (accents) in my name appear as apostrophes, which looks kind of bizarre...

Every Day Fiction is a magazine that specializes in publishing fiction in bite-size doses. Every day, they publish a new short story of 1000 words or fewer. Readers can leave comments on whether they like a story or not.

So they need between 28 and 31 stories a month. That's a lot of short stories! Submit here.

Very sorry about the way your name originally appeared on the piece; I'm not quite sure what went wrong there but I believe I now have it with the accents displaying correctly.

I really enjoyed the way this story blends facets of a true event with surrealism and a unique narrator.

Oh, my fadas have been corrected. I look like myself again.

Thank you, Slush Mistress Camille! On both counts. The simplest of programmes can't quite deal with accents sometimes, so I understand. You'd think English was the only language in the world sometimes...

Congratulations on your EDF debut! I have a story up there tomorrow and it gave me a real thrill when I saw my name under yours in the Table of Contents for October. (I hope that doesn't sound kinky.) Off to read your story now.

Aw, thanks Sarah. And thanks for your comment on the Every Day site. I'll drop by there tomorrow and read yours.
It's curious, the fact that people leave comments. I find it strange and kind of exhilirating, even if they are not glowing. The beauty of the web!

It's a kick, isn't it? No need to read mine (which I'm in two minds about now) just lovely to have you over there and with such a stonking story. The special thrill for me was the Art angle, as that's what I'm writing about in the novel. You brought that picture to life.

And seeing as how much of the code on the site is written by Steven and I, it really is the simplest of programs ;D.

Sorry about the accents, they came through as garbage so I took my best guess as to what they could be.

Jordan - it's no problem at all. I regularly have my name reduced to gobbledygook on the net. Technology seems to have language issues!
Thanks for stopping by.
