Congrats, Nuala - lovely write-up!

Also, I've a feeling I've read 'Madonna Irlanda' - was it in The Stinging Fly ages ago?

Hi Nuala,

Read that fab review in the Irish Times yesterday and am looking forward to getting my hands on the book, it sounds terrific. Writing short fiction at moment so its great to see another Irish anthology. Will tweet the review link to my writing and reading buddies. Well done and hope it goes really well.

Hooray, Nuala: excellent review. Insightful and thoughtful - makes one want to read the stories oneself (will be doing so). And as for the Brendan Kennelly mention, you're in the best possible company! Best, Min x.

Thanks Min - exalted company indeed. I must read it again. I read it twice the day it was published and have been avoiding it since. Even though I know it's good! The bizarre behaviour of writers...
