Nude is a PG CWWN pick

Somebody (thank you, kind person) recommended Nude over at the Postgrad Contemporary Women's Writing Network as a favourite example of contemporary women's short fiction. Look at the other women on the list! I feel like the wide-eyed fan at the party. Lorrie Moore! Maeve Brennan! Daphne du bloody Maurier! Hee hee. That's put a grin on my grumpy gob :)

Congrats, you must be cloud walking at the moment, but then it's a great collection.

Of course you are delighted! I would say no matter how many books you write or how successful you have been, you are constantly shocked by this type of stuff. Congratulate yourself on your hard work and creativity!

Cheers, Rozz. Yes, that's the funny thing about 'success' - one never feels successful no matter what anyone else says or thinks. I was highly amused (and flattered) by this list. It doesn't mean I feel successful though ;)

I can understand as the definition of success is a personal thing. The main thing is that you enjoy writing and other people dig your writing and have nice things to say about it! Now, that's success(to me!)

I enjoy writing mostly, Rozz. Sometimes (like today) I struggle :(
